"I booked and fully prepaid for a Tower Ocean View room well in advance. What I actually got was a second-floor “Parking Lot View” room with a spectacular panorama of parked cars. Apparently, the hotel decided that the room I had already paid for would be better enjoyed by someone else.
Since I arrived late at night, I didn’t have the chance to argue at check-in. More importantly, nobody from the hotel bothered to explain what happened or even acknowledge the downgrade. The reservation was made...

"As a hotelier the grounds man was the most friendly. I didn't get his name but he walks with a limp. I apologize for describing him in that manner, but he's the reason I would return. The room was fine. My only criticism is guest shouldn't have to wait 3 days before receiving service. The room attendant who clean our room on day 3, didn't leave enough towels, and left most of the dirty ones inside the room. I complained at the Front Desk and they corrected the problem. Thanks for everything."

"I would not recommend staying at Kasa Hillsboro Beach. The property was dirty and poorly maintained throughout our stay. There was visible mold covering parts of the ceilings, trash scattered around the cabanas, and even dog feces left on the balcony outside of the gym. Parts of the property are literally falling apart — there was an area of collapsed ground that had simply been roped off instead of properly repaired.

"I overall enjoyed our stay. The shower pressure was not good at all, way too low. The Steel Pan restaurant did not look clean so we left before ordering. The staff was very friendly and professional. This a super kid friendly hotel. Since we left ours homes this time, that wasn't ideal for us lol! The access to the beach was all worth it.
