"Peppers Cradle Mountain was amazing! The setting was beautiful, the cabins so warm and cosy, the lodge reception area was really inviting, and the nature walks around the lodge were stunning. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for two perfect nights. The meals at the tavern are really great and well priced too."
" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "
"Went in with low expectations, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay for the price. The amenities were good, especially the inclusion of a small kitchen which made things quite convenient. The room was reasonably comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay.
The facilities are a bit dated and it does show in certain areas, but they are still functional and well-maintained. The overall cleanliness was satisfactory, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth.
Location-wise, it worked well and made getting around fairly easy. Considering what was paid, it delivers good value for money and is a practical option if you’re not expecting luxury but just a comfortable, budget-friendly stay."
"We stayed in a private 4 bed bunk room with 1 double and 2 bunk beds. The bedroom was small but fine for the 2 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a great place to meet other guests. The shared shower and toilet facilities were clean and a good standard.
My criticism is that the price was too high, approx double the price of other holiday chalet style accommodation we stayed in which had private facilities."
"The room is good and very clean, with everything you need. There is no air conditioning, but the electric heater and electric blankets work well. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during my stay."
