I love the hotel La Fontana, and is my place to stay in Bogota, close to Unicentro and Usaquen. It is a very family oriented place, however, in this trip, we had to stand a drunken people show at the lobby bar while waiting and eating our nice Sushi dinner. Nobody seem to have the guts to tell the drunk to lower their volume and tone of the conversation, eceryone around had to listen the loud cursing and the only response was that neither security or the manager on duty had authorized any action. One more thing, the furniture in the rooms is aging, and the kitchen in the suite was not operable.

This is a great option in the northern part of Bogota. We feel very safe at La Fontana and love the interior patios. Great location right across from nice mall, Unicentro. Very good food too. Rooms are dated but it’s part of the charm - like the Paradores of Spain.
