"Stayed at this property during a recent visit to Charleston. Although we did have a few glitches with our room, the staff was attentive to our concerns and quickly made things right. The location is convenient while not quite downtown in the historic district. I give this hotel high marks for their customer service and overall hospitality - desk staff and management. "

"I’m not one for negativity but I am one for honesty so here we go… I booked this room because of the price but also because it advertised that there was a shuttle service that brought residents to downtown Charleston, which was amazing as I wouldn’t have to worry about ride sharing or renting a car. When we arrived, we were informed that there is no longer a shuttle service and that it’s because of new management? There are 2 buildings for the hotel, the main one and then a motel-like structure...

"The hotel room was lacking. There was a lot of water damage to the bathroom. The shower door wasn't sealed properly so the water leaked onto the floor and made a big mess. The lighting was lacking. A big mirror with a desk would've been a perfect place to put on makeup while somebody else was using the bathroom. Unfortunately with no lighting on that area, it was useless. I wish i would have grabbed brochures at the airport because i didn't find and until the last day we were there. They were...

"We upgraded (paid extra) to reserve a higher level room. This turned out not to be an upgrade because when we arrived we realized 1 of the 2 elevators was not working. Later we were told 1 elevator was out because it hadn’t been inspected as it should be. After we arrived, checked in and settled in to our 9th floor room, we were notified BOTH elevators were out. We reached out to the front desk and were asked “you can’t take stairs?” From that point on, elevators were repaired and then back...
