On arrival yesterday in a heatwave of 40 degrees the air conditioning was not working on our room. I raised this issue with the manager as it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable in our room. "The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. There is no service provided at all apart from an average, 'self serve' breakfast. The photos we saw online of beautiful pastries unfortunately did not materialise. There was a coffee machine in our room, but no coffee! We had to go down 3 floors to find a coffee pod, for which we were charged extra. I...

"Unexpected Charm. Don't let the entrance fool you, behind the big door in a narrow street is a Lovely home, run by an enchanting couple. They were warm & welcoming, even ran out to find us an open restaurant after our late arrival. Parking out front was easy. "

"Séjour avec mes 2 grands garçons. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte. Le gîte n'étant pas complet mes fils ont même pu bénéficier d'une chambre pour tous les 2 avec sdb individuelle au lieu d'une chambre de 3. Petit déjeuner au top comme on les aime, avec de la confiture maison :-) , du beurre, du pain frais, des céréales et des mini-viennoiseries variées +++ Je recommande"
