This Station 1 property was excellent. We mainly stayed here for the convenience and proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This hotel provided this and so much more like 2 hour laundry service, activity booking, a restaurant next to the beautiful beach. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was a GREAT experience and will return again! Thanks!

This place is fantastic! Filipino breakfast each morning. WiFi that works! Walking distance to everything, The beach is right across the street. You can use etrik or the Hop On Hop Off buses. You can book water activities through the hotel. We did the Diamond Yacht Cruise one evening that I highly recommend. They offer laundry services which we used twice and clothes came back fresh and folded. I highly recommend!!

SO LOUD! Traffic noise = no sleep. Not on beach.
First I’d just like to say the staff at the hotel was great. And the free breakfast was tasty. Now for the cons - not only is this hotel not on the ‘water edge’, as the NAME claims, it’s also not really on the beach, as the Hotels.com PROFILE claims. Booked this hotel because it was listed as ‘on the beach’. I work on Cebu City and need to escape traffic noise for a few days here and there. I wanted the sound of the ocean to relax by after a stressful week at work. Turns Diamond Water Edge lies in the online profiles and then won’t let you cancel when you discover their lie. Their restaurant area, maybe two high end rooms, and small pool are by the beach. The 4-story hotel is in another building and is set back behind a very BUSY, dirty LOUD road that’s under construction, not paved yet. Horns, big trucks, motors revving and Traffic kept me up until 2am and woke me before 7am for 3-days in a row... even with ear plugs. Not cool. The hotel wouldn’t let me cancel or switch rooms to a cheaper non ocean view room, which may have been quieter (tho def still not quiet). So much for a peaceful weekend away from the noise of Cebu City. The traffic noise at this hotel is Much Worse than at my condo in Mabolo. You can pay less $$$ for quieter hotels in Boracay. No sleep = cranky me = ruined break... all because I picked the wrong hotel. I think Diamond may pay fake reviewers to get their high online ratings... they are definitely not 8-stars for any reason, imo.

The annex is totally unexpected...have to go to the next buildng where so many bystanders passing by.We requested for an extension the following day to match our flight sched the front desk agreed we even discuss rates and all lo and behold at the last minute they informed us we cant..I have two senior citizens and a kid with me and we have to vacate the room soon.This hotel in Boracay is the most unexpectedly no customer consideration among all ive stayed with.Plus points for the other staff who are so respectful.other than that it sucks

Short Business Trip
Although during the time we went there, there was road widening (that’s why it was dusty), the hotel itself was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. My only issue is that even though we got 2 rooms with the same price, one was much smaller than the other one.

The water in the shower goes hot suddenly goes cold then hot again. The parrot in the alley can sometimes be annoying and noisy. Overall, the place was acceptable.

Hi mam! Thank you for your heads up on this. Kindly be informed that we have already removed the parrot also with the same issue. We will also do our best with the fluctuation of the shower control due to low voltage sometimes of the electricity here in the Island.

My wife and i stay in diamond edge hotel not a bad place to have decent holiday although breakfast wasn't the best was cold and pretty small overall was cool place and i could recommend to everyone

Excellent waterfront resort.
Did not know what to expect when I booked this hotel. I was presently surprised at the accommodations. Right at the waters edge. Clean and staff was outstanding. Our cleaning staff did an outstanding job very attentive to all our needs. Will stay here again.

Lovely views on the beach front
Great little place on the sea front. Walking distance from everything and convenient mini stop, seven11 and Andoks chicken directly at the back. The reason I only give 3 stars is that they're currently having renovation work and the constant banging from 7am to 6pm has spoilt our stay. Especially that we wasn't informed when checking in nor anything was done about it when complaints were submitted.

A resort with basic amenities; spacious but faulty balcony door lock - hope that they have fixed this. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Great location - great beachfront view and it's just minutes walk away from Station 2 and D'Mall.

Fantastiskt hotell nära stranden, white beach. Jätte hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Rummen var rena och i gott skick. Det som kan förbättras var duschstrålen, antingen var vattnet för varmt, för kallt eller dålig stråle. Frukosten var inte alls bra, det serverades ris och korv osv, om ni ska bo här, var beredda på att kanske köpa till kompletterad frukost.

Bra läge vid stranden
Mycket bra läge, lugnt område vid station 1. Vi var där 13 nätter samt under tiden när det var tyfon och vi kände oss trygga och säkra på vårat rum. Stor eloge till personalen i restaurangen som ordnade maten under det svåra ovädret på juldagen. Jag måste också nämna den trevliga personalen i receptionen men de var inte tillräckligt kunniga i kommunikation med hotellgästerna. Vi fick ingen information om tyfonen som var på väg till Boracay. Det var väldigt svårt att få information efter ovädret, var kan man ta ut pengar, när kommer mobilteckningen tillbaka osv. Dålig service i receptionen då de missade att jag bokade sen utcheckning, de letade efter mig i hotellets restaurang för att säga till mig att lämna rummet vid 13 istället för 16. Även dålig service från hotellets personal som sålde vattensporter. Vi bokade tid till solnedgångssegling kl 16:45 och när vi kom till platsen stämde ingeting med våran bokning. Först skulle vi få en annan tid 17:05 och sedan skulle våran kontaktperson köpa biljetter till oss (vi trodde att de redan hade köpt biljetterna men det hade de inte). Sedan kom kontaktpersonen med nästa besked vilket var att det helt plötsligt var för många människor som ville göra denna aktiviteten och att vi får komma en annan dag istället, pengarna tillbaka och ingen segling för oss.

Stor forskel på værelserne.
Diamond Water Edge ligger ca 300 m fra det livlige butik og restaurant område. Behageligt tæt på, og man hører ikke meget til det. Selve hotellet er delt i 2 bygninger. Den ene bygning med værelser, restaurant og swimmingpool ligger på selve stranden. Den anden bygning med reception og værelser ligger på den anden side af vejen. Jeg skulle krydse vejen for at komme på stranden. Det første værelse jeg fik anvist var en KATASTROFE. Inde i en baggård, i et værelse med et vindue på ca 0,5 m x 1,00 m med udsigt til en væg. Jeg fik heldigvis et andet og meget bedre værelse med stort vinduesparti med 180 grader udsigt til vand og strand.- men uden balkon. Pas på - der er STOR forskel på værelserne.De allerbedste værelser er i den bygning som ligger på selve stranden.

Modern, fresh and great location
We stayed in their Horizon room and really enjoyed our stay. Fresh, clean, modern and super nice bathroom. Our friends stayed in the large suite but our bathroom was much better. Friendly staff, great location and comfortable beds at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this!
