"The staff members, especially Asha were excellent. The setting was excellent. The view from our unit was beyond beautiful. The unit was well decorated (a bit dated but very nice). The adjacent restaraunt is very good, not a large menu but the food was very well prepared. The only negative was the location. Without a car you don't have access to anything else. If you are looking for a place to chill on the beach and eat in a nice restaraunt this just might be the place. We will go back."

Windward Passage Hotel

"I stayed at the Windward Passage Hotel from May 14th through May 17th, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The photos online were very deceiving and did not accurately reflect the condition of the hotel or the room we received. I do want to acknowledge a few staff members who were extremely helpful during my stay. Neisha at the front desk was kind and professional, and Luwen was also very helpful and pointed us in the right direction when we had questions. The security officer was also pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were several issues that negatively impacted the experience. My room key repeatedly stopped working, and I had to return downstairs three separate times to have it fixed. After a long day of traveling, this became very frustrating. The lighting in the room was also extremely poor — it was difficult to even see properly, and only one additional lamp was working. The TV remote was missing the back cover as well, which made the room feel poorly maintained. In addition, one of the front desk employees wore very heavy makeup and came across as rude and unwelcoming whenever we interacted with her. Overall, the level of professionalism and hospitality was inconsistent. I also noticed a difference in how some guests were greeted and treated compared to others, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I believe the hotel could do a much better job with customer"

"Beautiful property! Clean and updated rooms. They do a great job trying to maintain them. We loved having the amenities of a pool, nightly entertainment, close to town. Amazing views. Staying here and driving to the beaches was worth it!"

"The room I was assigned at first was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable, but the air conditioning was having some issues. So I went to the receptionist and she was able to change my room for one that had working air conditioning. The receptionist was super helpful and patient with me, which I deeply appreciated. My stay at Starz Hotel was overall lovely and comfortable."

"Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here."

"The food at their buffet was not good at the one restaurant they have the food was decent. Breakfast is not included and breakfast was not good. They have a swim up bar restaurant but it’s really just a bar that has a short menu. That food was absolutely horrible. They did however upgrade our room to an ocean view which is nice. Can’t imagine any other view that was pretty much the best part of the stay. Everything was overpriced and they do not accept cash. Which is inconvenient because most of the time when you leave the states credit card companies give you a hard time charging your card so I had to use one debit card the whole trip because I left the others at home."
