"The location is great, very close to all the nice shops on Exeter street, just across from the Boston Public Library. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Be aware the hotel is an older property and they have chosen to maintain the same esthetic, so it has that old school hotel vibe. Bed was super comfortable, A/C was very cold, liked the pillow, had bathrobes, ironing board and iron for guest use. Big bathroom with a tub."

"This was an interesting hotel and if you have any experience of the raffles brand elsewhere then I would recommend be prepared. The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. A butler system which I must say working off some mediocre phone prompts just doesn’t cut it . One looses the will to live when saying I need a shaving kit and al you get back is “is there something else...

"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"This property is perfect! My only complaint is that when I booked it stated that we would have free breakfast and upon arrival they stated that we did not have breakfast included in our stay. Pretty disappointed but it did not take away from the beauty and cleanliness at this hotel"

"Des draps sales. Changement de chambre à 3 reprises et à chaque fois le même problème se posait, des draps utilisés et sales. L’hôtel est bien, le personnel sympathique mais la problématique des draps laisse un goût amer. L’hôtelier a promis de rembourser la moitié du prix de la chambre mais en vain. Sans nouvelles et aucune compensation à ce jour."

"I had a poor experience with a lost item. I left my e-reader in my hotel room after checking out and called every day including the day I checked out. For a couple days, the staff would just tell me to call again the next day to check so I feel like absolutely no effort was being made to look for my item. Very frustrating uncaring attitude. I didn’t get my item back even though I’m sure I left it in the hotel room."

"The location was fantastic for all things Boston! It was a very walkable location and such a comfortable room and a very friendly staff that was very helpful."

"I was put in the wrong room initially but the front desk guy corrected it for me. The room was not the most comfortable the bed was kind of hard and the towels were stiff. I am not going to lie no I would not stay here again. Also they charged me $65 for one night of valet parking!"

"The room was well-designed, efficient use of space with all amenities. I especially liked the fact that everything could be controlled with the Ipad. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to shops at Newbury street and with the T right next door. The lobby was well designed with ample areas for lounging, dining or just spending time with other guests. I loved the vibe. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Boston."

"The staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean, and housekeeping was very responsive. Breakfast can be provided in room or in the lobby, so please be aware that there is no common dining area. The quality and quantity of food was great-- well worth it! Would absolutely stay here again."
