We got there and found out that the beach is about 25min walk in a road full of rocks and not 1min walk from the beach as advertised !!!we ended up leaving immediately after finding the place because it’s not what we signed up for and didn’t feel safe ! When I told the guy there that the description said 1min walk from the beach and it is a long walk in an unsafe road , he didn’t care at allll!! He said that he will walk with us to the beach ??!!! "Great position. Helpful friendly staff. Pool area partially covered and people were smoking, not nice as it lingered so did not use it. Private beach area beds were dirty and we saw non residents abusing them and not taking their rubbish away. Other than that the hotel was very nice. We would return. Felt safe in the resort"

"We had a wonderful stay at Riad Chbanate. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly makes this place special is the exceptional staff. A heartfelt thank you to Hisham, Gregie (apologies if I’ve misspelled your name), Samira, and the entire team. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, and the Moroccan tea was some of the best we had during our trip. The location is ideal if you prefer being closer to the beach. The main medina and other attractions are about a 10–13 minute walk away, which we found very manageable. We highly recommend Riad Chbanate to anyone visiting Essaouira. Thank you again to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality!"

"Lot of items for the daily breakfast buffet. Shopping/eating around this place. Kind of far away to walk from the taxi dropping areas. Flat areas, no steps. This hotels has a elevator. Rooms need more plug points and bright lights. Outside kind of dirty due to cats/dogs. We saw even locals cover their noses around this area. Although some one washed the roads one day, maybe need to do more often."

"Our room (the Casablanca) was hands down the most colorful, gorgeous room we have stayed in and we have traveled a lot. The tilework was next-level and brought us so much joy. The rooftop is equally gorgeous, with food and nightly music that are not to be missed. The entire property makes you smile. And the only thing better are the people who work here. Each person went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and when my husband was ill, Rachida came up to give us her duvet, send someone to the very late night pharmacy, and made home rice and special tea at nearly midnight. We are forever grateful and will continue to share stories of your kindness and character. And send everyone we know to Salut Maroc! Love to Rachida and the team!"
