"Our stay greatly exceeded our expectations. The lodge would be quite a romantic getaway if we hadn’t been staying with two young children. The room was very clean and furnished beautifully. There was a living area downstairs that was stocked with games, books, and nice sofas with windows overlooking the big lake. It was a short drive into downtown Grand Marais, and a short hike to the Cascade Falls. The restaurant next door offers a discount with your stay and is quite tasty. The front office staff were all friendly. I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again."
