"It was very hard to relax, there is no soundproofing. You can hear all the people going in an out of their rooms, causing you not to be able to fall asleep, and then wake up with the first guests going in and out of their rooms. Do not recommend.
The pool was old and grimey. This is not a 5 star hotel."
"Very disappointing stay – would not recommend
We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the East Cliff Hotel in Bournemouth. We paid good money expecting a clean and comfortable room, but unfortunately the condition of the hotel was very poor.
The carpet in our room was extremely dirty and did not appear to have been properly vacuumed. The bathroom and toilet were also dirty, and the sink was broken which makes it look even dirtier.The overall cleanliness and maintenance were far below...
"For a 3 star hotel thought excellent. Room was large. Had comfy bed, very clean, tea and coffee supplied. Had a large bath and shower. Hotel was opposite the beach and had a lovely outside pool. Breakfast was buffet style. Had fresh fruit , yogurts, cereals. Cooked breakfast, toast. All hot and very nice."
"Ideally suited for public transport, the beach and town. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, air conditioning good and so necessary in a heatwave.
Restaurant serves dinner and a cooked buffet which was excellent."
"No food available after a long trip and the sea view room on the first floor is a bit of a stretch from a standing position only. I did manage to catch a glimpse between the rooftops."

"We loved the petals scattered on our bed as we had just arrived from our wedding. On the downside there were wedding events two nights in a row so there was late night getting to sleep, on the upside both wedding parties sounded fantastic, the guests were having a good time and we were on our honeymoon ☺️"
