"Good place"

"Dark and depressing, everything is brown, very little natural light, clean but very tired and very basic. This is not a Hotel, you have to make your own beds, staff unhelpful when we needed to move rooms because of the barking dog next door …. we asked if they could help move the linen and were told by them that that wasn’t there job why should they do it??? Maybe a misunderstanding as i thought we were booking a hotel room this feels more like a hostel ….. "

We have been on many vacations never have we been charged extra for them to clean the room. And fyi the room was not that clean when we got there with panties in the trash can. "Basic French mountain accommodation. Good set up with friendly helpful staff. Avoriaz is pretty cool, loads of amenities. Stayed here for summer MTB, would probably stay again. Little bit tired in apartment but that’s standard unless you’re paying top end."

"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. It was ice cold on arrival and would've taken hours to warm up to a useable temperature. That might've been ok but we...

"This hotel is very convenient. You exit tge train and walk to the hotel on platform one. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the lake and city from the terrace and were the only ones there.!! Breakfast is not included and cost Fr.18 ($22) We chose to walk to the Migro supermarket about 8 minutes down near the lake to get our yogurt and fruit instead. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the minute of our arrival."
