"The hotel was under renovations, which is not the issue and explains a lot of cleanliness issues. The problem was that the fact that hotel was under renovations was not mentioned at the time of booking, more specifically the fact that the pool was closed. I appreciate that there was a solution in place using the hotel pool across the road - but the main reason for picking your hotel was the pictures of the pool with the slide. My children were very excited for the pool, and it was not available....

"Horrible experience at check in. Disappointing stay. There was significant construction directly outside the hotel, including loud jackhammering, and we were not informed before arrival. When we raised it at check-in, the manager was rude and confrontational, blamed Expedia, and could not tell us when the construction would stop or start. We specifically asked for a room away from the construction and were still placed facing it. The lack of communication and poor handling of the issue really...

"Stayed in Gold level room. The minibar had nothing in it. Called asking about water, and was informed the room had filtered water. There was a special faucet in the bath. But no bottle or pitcher to put it in so you could chill it. It’s great to recycle and all, but put some recyclable bottles in the room. There were only some small glasses. In the morning no creamer for the coffee in the room. The lounge had no ice and was small and like a cheap high school lunch room. Worst of any...

"This hotel was perfect for our three nights in Calgary. The staff could not do enough for guests. The room was immaculately clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was a nice touch - a bit limited for vegans but you can’t complain when it’s free! I would 100% stay here again."

"Buffet style breakfast was great to wake up and start the day, as well the restaurant makes amazing dinners. We really liked the open concept of the hotel with the ability to see if the restaurant or pool was too busy. Within a 20 minute drive to most places in Calgary. Underground parking was a nice touch as well"
