Best at low tide, these meter diameter boulders are a sight to see. Dozens of them out there in the tide that get covered at high tide. The kids loved this beach and all the things to touch and climb on. Best part: free. An hour south of Mendocino, CA. #KidsFun

They are not a zoo and only give pre-reserved small tours with up close views of the animals. Lynn and I toured while we were in the area.
