"We had bugs coming out of our sink, they tried to handl eit quickly, but they kept coming back. The armchair in our room was filthy. This was the lowest acceptable room I could have stayed in. I should have checked out."

"You get what you pay for! There is a reason this room is cheap,The room was old and very dirty, when asked for clean sheets I was told I couldn't have any because they "knew" the sheets were fresh. The location was ok but I wouldn't recommend staying unless you dont mind run down dirty hotels."

"The hotel is under renovation. We were originally put in a room that was in such bad condition the bathroom light and fan did not work. We asked for a different room and we're told there was none. We were told the bathroom would be fixed by the time we returned at 10:00 p.m.. when we returned to the hotel our personal items had been moved to a new room. The new room was not completed and did not have adequate furniture or even toilet paper. The maintenance man was as nice as he could be. When we...

"Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. The water pressure in the shower and shampoo/conditioner/body wash were nice. The common room and extra amenities of snacks and drinks were enjoyed. We played a board game and cards. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks at the Shipwreck and the complimentary breakfast was so good. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and would have stayed additional nights if we had more time."

"Good location for sightseeing. The property is very new. Everything is nice and well appointed. Breakfast is way above average. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Rapid City."

"I was very underwhelmed by this property. All of the furnishings are old and dilapidated the chairs in the bar/restaurant have cheap polyester covers over chairs that have been used so much. The vinyl is gone. The room itself again. The furnishings were old and dirty and fraying myself on the edges. There was only one trashcan in the room. It was in the bathroom unless they do a major renovation I would not recommend this hotel."

"The food in the small restaurant and bar was very good. We had no hot water at night and it was barely warm by morning when we needed to get to an appointment. I think there should be some money refunded when this happens."
