"Very good location just off Hayling Island causeway, good buffet breakfast! Room was very clean and staff helpful."

"Location excellent for attractions. Reception was nice and a bit quirky. Room was a bit bland although recently refurbished. Breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice, a fan was provided. If the temperature had been any warmer it could have been a problem. We managed to get free parking at the front of the hotel which was a bonus, spaces were limited."

"So extreme heat was the bug bear They were unable to cope air conditioning was not working making the stay unbearable Staff tho really could not be more honest Its not the fault of them at all Room was basic Lots of silly things a miss ,but clean and staff great A new lad was on the bar bless him in all the heat he pulled the best pint and topped it up so pleasant . Breakfast was nice ..however staff there on the tables were miserable :("

However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep. This room really should not have been given to a family in such hot weather in the first place. At 2am we had to ask for another room, which meant moving tired children in the middle of the...
