"Lovely staff, decent hotel and in a great spot, but something between Expedia and the hotel went wrong and we had to check out of our room at 11 and into another at 3, even though we were only there for 2 nights. I agreed to this as it was too late to hunt down another hotel. Upon arrival, the staff were really lovely, but our room was made up as a double, when it should’ve been a twin. "Really comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom, the bathroom was on the small side and not as nice as the rest of the room (still nice enough). The staff were friendly but seemed very busy so they just gave us the key and pointed us in the direction of the outbuiling where our bedroom was located. If you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs our room would not be for you as there were some very steep stairs."

"My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age."
