"We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and always have a pleasant stay. Hotel is spacious, has lovely garden settings to walk out, rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, Staff always pleasent and helpful and we have never had any issues. Pool area and steam and sauna rooms are great, although can sometimes get quite busy. Not yet used the spa facilities or the huge golf area as our stays are normally eat, quick pool usage, breakfast and go. Highly recommend"

"Pool/sauna facilities over crowded. Extortionate bar fees. Conflicting information about availability of food at the bar, one member of staff said we could order up until 9pm, another said we couldn't order 'because there was a party of 40 in'. Very tight parking spaces. It was clean and tidy but no better than a Premier Inn because we were unable to use the pool and sauna facilities, which were the reason for booking this particular hotel. Would not book again."

"We had a lovely stay at Cuckoo Cottage and would happily return. The location is excellent for exploring the Peak District, with beautiful walks straight from the doorstep, including Lathkill Dale. The swimming pool was a real bonus after a day of walking, and the games room was great fun, with pool, table tennis, darts, giant Jenga and other games available. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, including tea, coffee, washing-up liquid,...

"Bramble was a lovely cottage for the 5 of us, very comfortable beds and quality fixtures in the bathrooms. Having the pool on site was great (although it does need a little maintenance). Overall great stay, hoping to come again."
