The "hotel" is actually a house being converted into a hotel. The biggest problem is that the apparent front of the "hotel" is actually in the next door neighbor's back yard (!), and not meant for parking. We accidentally parked there and the neighbor immediately came out to tell us in broken English not to park there (there are small no-parking signs, in German). He didn't seem to know anything about a hotel. Better signage is needed.
The rooms are clean, if sparse. The bathroom (at least in the room we had) was modern, and had a nice shower, but was small and hard to maneuver in. There were three closely-spaced, but comfortable beds. But nothing else (no TV), and only one set of electrical outlets. The main room light didn't work. Just a few towels were provided.
The "staff" is the one man who owns the house. You must call ahead to meet the owner when you arrive, or make arrangements by email. The owner speaks English fairly well.
