Good hotel just in front of the station. Bremen center is about 10 minutes on foot. Rooms are clean, big and quiet, and beds are comfortable; very high quality-price ratio

Value for money

The area was rough as it was next to the main train station and didn’t feel too safe walking there at night but the hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was lovely and the rooms were big especially for the price.

Registration complications online—but great hotel

The stay itself was wonderful, but we spent 2 hours of our delayed train ride in trying to register online and at least on safari and google on iPhones it would never prompt for putting in credit card info, even though it ask us to authorize payment and we did. But still registration was not complete because of lack of payment. We tried calling ahead and only got the corporate line and even though the website said it was staffed until 10 pm , no one answered at 9:15 or 9:30 pm. We were worried we would not be able to access our room. Of course, once we arrived at 10:30 pm, the counter staff was still there and said they are staffed 24 hours but that info was no where available on the website that we could find. When we finally switched to a MacBook, we were able to complete registration of one of 2 rooms, but it still provided no info on room access. We spent a couple of worried hours not knowing if we would be able to access our room. So that was immensely disappointing. But, since there was kind and helpful staff still at the front desk when we arrived, we not only got in but thoroughly enjoyed our room. Thank you!

Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: große Auswahl von Sekt über Lachs bis hin zu herzhaften Optionen wie Frikadellen – für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut; persönlich hätte mir nur der Kaffee in einem anderen Hotel etwas besser geschmeckt, das ist aber wirklich nur eine kleine persönliche Vorliebe. Besonders charmant fanden wir die aufgemalten Gesichter auf den Eiern – das zaubert jedem Gast sofort gute Laune. Das Frühstückspersonal gab sich große Mühe, das Buffet nachzufüllen; nur das Abräumen und Reinigen der Tische könnte ein bisschen zügiger erfolgen. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Betten bequem, und die kleine Küche fanden wir ausgesprochen praktisch. Der Fernseher war völlig ausreichend, wir haben ihn allerdings nicht genutzt. Ein besonderes Detail, das uns gefiel, war die dezente Fußbodenbeleuchtung – so etwas sieht man selten und es wirkt sehr modern und gemütlich. Die Umgebung am Hotel hat einen erschreckenden Charakter. Man ist froh, wenn man im Hotel und im Fahrstuhl ist. Um das Hotel lungern seltsame Menschen herum, so wie es in noch keiner Stadt in Deutschland gesehen habe.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Das Parkhaus mit Autofahrstuhl war ein echtes Erlebnis. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Das Frühstück war das Beste am Aufenthalt. Zunächst wurde uns ein Zimmer zugewiesen, dass nicht dem entsprach, welches gebucht war. Reklamiert, Zimmerwechsel….soweit so gut….. Das Zimmer machte einen mittelmäßigen Eindruck für diese Preiskategorie. Auf den Vorhängen klebte eine schwarze Masse, die mutmaßlich von den Fensterscha waren mit Fett der Fensterscharniverschmiert. Auf der Tür zum Vorraum war ein fettiger Handabdruck zu sehen. Im Bad hatte der total versiffte Duschablauf auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Die Fernbedienung, ich schreib es lieber nicht….. Das Umfeld entsprach der klassischen Bahnhofsgegend. Obdachlose, Junkies und andere Menschen der gleichen Kategorie lungerten umher. Trotz Kameraüberwachung des Bahnhofsplatzes wurde offen gedealt. Klar, wenn ich im Umfeld des Bahnhofs absteige, darf ich mich nicht wundern das dieser Bereich dem Klischee entspricht.

Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof war ungünstig: Bei geöffneten Fenstern war es bis 3–4 Uhr morgens sehr laut, und eine Klimaanlage war im Familienzimmer nur in einem der beiden Räume vorhanden. Zudem fühlte sich der Weg durch den Bahnhofsvorplatz und umliegende Straßen abends unangenehm an. Abgesehen davon bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Sehr nettes Personal, leider gefangen in ineffizienten, zeitfressenden Management-Prozessen. Statt eines vorbereiteten Meldescheins (physisch oder elektronisch) müssen Gäste am Tablet alle Reservierungsdaten erneut eingeben – inkl. gesetzlich nicht geforderter Pflichtangaben –, während das Personal dasteht und wartet. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht.

Die bei Hotels.com angepriesenen Parkplätze sind zu klein für einen SUV. Die Bettdecke aus synthetischem Material sind schwer und viel zu heiss für den Sommer. Das Hotel liegt an einem Platz, an dem fast die ganze Nicht Lärm ist, wie sich Leute dort treffen und feiern. Offenes Fenster ist nicht möglich. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und gut. Trotzdem: Nie wieder !
