Good value and very near the station

Very convenient for the railway station as it is directly across the road. This is an older hotel with older furnishings and a positively antique elevator. The hotel seems to have many English guests and, perhaps as a result, my room had a kettle which is not common in Swiss hotels. My room was larger than many rooms in Swiss hotels but, although described on the website as having a "bath" it had a shower with no bath tub and a shower curtain which clung to me while I took a shower. The breakfast didn't have as many choices as some other Swiss hotels. The wifi, hot water and comfort of the bed were fine.

We chose Hotel Victoria for the price and location. Switzerland is expensive to travel in. Meals were extremely expensive! This place had an included breakfast. The breakfast was terrific! Meat and cheese and breads and croissants and hard boiled eggs and mixed fruit and cereal and maybe oatmeal and yogurt. So something for everyone. The pillows weren't great. But that isn't uncommon. The beds were quite comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the town was just lovely. We went for a walk through it all and a ways up the mountain and it was absolutely stunning! Lots to see and a lovely glimpse of Switzerland. Be prepared for high food prices. Otherwise we would stay here again. We have been backpacking through Italy and France and wanted a place near the train to stow our packs before discovering this town. And this didn't disappoint!

Very good place for tourists travelling by train

Charming, good service and a good breakfast with perfect boiled eggs. Very closed to railway station. The town Brig is also a very nice surprise.

Very clean rooms, room 207 has a big balcony. Unbeatable location, literally 1 min to Brig Station. Breakfast could be a little better. Overall excellent.

Perfect location as the hotel is located right opposite train station. It is on Glacier Express route, very convenience as we arrived from St Moritz. Breakfast was good and staff were nice. Our room had a balcony facing the station, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommended for traveller who like to visit Zermatt without having to pay high price accommodation.

They were supposed to send us an email for checkin 24 hours before we arrived but had to go through Expedia who contacted the hotel the morning of our arrival to get the number we needed. It’s a self checkin with someone available there 24/7 but the desk where someone was supposed to be was empty more than someone was there. Liked breakfast starting at 6:30 so we could start early. Internet connection not good. Only worked half the time.

A recommander !

L'hôtel est très bien situé lorsqu'on arrive en train, juste en face de la gare, très pratique, et dans la rue commerçante de Brig, sans être trop bruyante. Les chambres au style délicieusement désuet sont très propres et confortables. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est varié et amplement suffisant. Nous recommanderons cette adresse, et y reviendrons avec plaisir.

非常に過ごしやすい、シンプルで落ち着いた部屋でした。バスタブもあり、湯量もしっかりあって久しぶりのお風呂を楽しめました。 朝食は色々な種類のチーズ、ハムを楽しめて、とても良い時間を過ごすことができました。 泊まった部屋からは駅や山々の奥に雪を被ったアルプス見えたのもよかったです。 駅の目の前でわかりやすく、チェックアウト後も荷物を置かせてもらえてとても助かりました。

Hotel Victoria Brig: Preis/Leistung absolut OK.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super besonders wenn man mit der Bahn anreist, direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof Brig. Sehr freundliches Personal besonders an der Reception. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit grosser Auswahl nur schade, dass jeweils nicht nachgefüllt wird. Wenn jemand nach 09.00h zum Frühstück kommt sind die Fleischsachen und teils auch das Brot weg!!
