"The staff took good care of us"

"Where do I start, this place is outstanding in every way! The people who own and operate this establishment should be running courses for everyone else on how to run a motel/hotel. Exceptionally clean, quiet, and had a warmth to it that is hard to explain. Perhaps the high quality, but not generic furnishings. The continental breakfast in the room is basic, BUT treat it as a bonus, because the place is outstanding without a breakfast. This would rate as my top 10 of places to stay. And perhaps...

Bed comfortable, One minute walk to Royal Qld Yacht Squadron club where you receive member ship prices for motel guests also easy walk into town cates beach parks etc. Ideal location, great staff and facilities. "The hotel itself was fantastic and staff welcoming. Bed was comfortable and roon spaciaous with plenty of storage space. Down side, mould on ceilings, exhaust fan not working and full of dirt and dust, really difficult to fill the kettle for a cuppa."
