"A rather lovely spacious place and for an excellent off-season price, but we felt like we were a bother. As well, we couldn’t find an open restaurant for supper anywhere within walking distance, even with the help of 3 different locals. A bar graciously provided grilled cheese and ham. Being alone in the “hotel” with no desk as expected didn’t help. The place was just not friendly and not helpful— you’re on your own!"

"Wir waren in den Pfingstferien zu viert 12 Tage in der Villa Vrsar zu Gast. Bei Ankunft um die Mittagszeit war das Zimmer bereits bezugsfertig - erst mal positiv. Allerdings war das Zimmer zwar gemacht, allerdings nicht besonders gut. Über Kopfhöhe sehr staubig, die Toilettenbrille nicht sauber, keine Plastiktüten im Mülleimer. Auf der Terrasse alles voller Blütenstaub und ein Plastikbecher, gefüllt mit alten Zigarrettenkippen. Nach Reklamieren wurde die Terrasse nochmal gereinigt und die...

"This property is so cool - great location at the base of the town overlooking the valley and vineyards. The cocktails at the bar were amazing. We did, however, have a problem with the shower not having hot water but apparently this was just something temporary that they were getting fixed soon."

The facilities are superb and accommodate for all ages: cycling, swimming, water slides, gym, treetop/go-ape adventure, beach, restaurants, gaming zone, arcade games. Plus local to the old town so a great area to walk, run and explore. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are well thought out with a breakout door for children and 2 tv’s. "Fabulous hotel in old town, great location within easy walking to restaurants and shops, lovely rooms, firm and very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast with all the usual choices at a European hotel plus a menu offering made-to-order omelets, scrambled and fried eggs with choice of meat. One of the best breakfasts ever! The best part was their staff....so friendly, helpful, amazing people. I cannot say enough about this stellar hotel. Stay here!"

"Beautiful and well-maintained property. We loved our six night stay. One concern way that the life vests on the ferry were locked in a container. If there was an emergency, that delay could cause a fatal accident. We believe the ferry service was a private company."
