"The rooms are small and basic, but they have been recently renovated and the bed was very comfortable. The portable AC unit was quite loud, but it did a good job of drowning out the road noise, which was actually a plus for sleeping.
Breakfast was fairly basic, and the pancake maker was very slow, making only two pancakes at a time. On the plus side, the French Vanilla Latte was awesome!
Overall, a decent stay for the price. Hopefully housekeeping is doing a thorough deep clean between guests...

"I went with friends for a holiday trip and it was a lovely stay. It's a beautiful hotel, however the room was a bit basic and felt average , nothing special about it. Still loved the place and would come back, super close to the parliament and downtown area so you can walk everywhere!"

"Half the hotel is being renovated. We were originally put into the unrenovated side and were extremely disappointed. We had to request a move, which was an upgraded room. Next morning there was a lot of construction noise as well for a short period. The bay is also under construction so looking out the window at several cranes and construction equipment was not the view we were hoping for."
