"The heating and cooling unit was hard to figure out. The fan did not ever stop blowing even on low. If I set it for 71 it was too cold and blew cold air. If I set it for 72 it switched to heat and blew heat. There is no 24 hour coffee in the lobby so if I wanted coffee I had to buy it. "We've stayed there 2 years in a row for a Girls' Weekend in downtown Grand Rapids. We even booked the same room the second time! Just loved it! Close to everything in Downtown! All the restaurants we went to were great, reasonable, and within walking distance (and I highly recommend Tupelo Honey, which is right across the street). We stayed in a 2 bed / 2 bath with a kitchen, living room, dining table, and the city view. Aside from creaky floors, it's a fantastic unit! Plenty of space for...

"Positive: I was concerned when I saw that our room was directly next to the elevator. This is something I try to stay away from because of noise. But the way the room and bathroom are set up, we had no noise issues whatsoever. It was a nice surprise. "Went to check in at 4 pm and was told room wasn’t available didn’t call me till almost 8:30 we were at a cheer competition and didn’t have any where to change. Rooms were ok but there was mystery red stains on the floor the sofa bed was broken pee at the base of the toilet"

"fast and friendly check in. Great room quality nice mattress and air conditioning. Well insulated sound walls gave quiet peace, even with boys baseball team running around. Breakfast food is well prepared and plentiful with wonderful assortment of choices. pool in nice for stretching but small for full laps. Temperature was perfect. not too cold or hot."

"The staff was incredibly kind and were cleaning while we checked in. the room itself was clean, but there was a lot of things broken. It didn’t cause us to have a bad stay but simple things like the shower head shooting water near the top where it connects to the plumbing and wall shelves not adhered to the wall/falling out of the wall were disappointing.
