"Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City.
Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too.
Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay.
Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful.
As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet."
"The hotel location is a long walk from the train station but very close to the Cathedral and lots of restaurants and pubs. The room was clean and nice and the restaurant was good for a late dinner and for breakfast."
"Struggled to find it at first but it was a lovely room, enjoyed being able to use the TV. Had 2 fans which was needed. When arrived back at the hotel late at night there was no room in the car park but a member of staff moved their car for us to be able to park.
Only downside which staff cannot control it is very loud, right next to pubs. Banging all night and fire alarm randomly went off at 1am which gave us a bit of a fright."
"Very basic. Bathrooms ok but the rest of the place needs a re-vamp but I suppose it’s why it’s so cheap.
Fine to put your head down for the night but nothing more than that. Bed was semi comfortable but you can feel every spring in the mattress.
Also as a women on my own I don’t think I’d stay again. There were people hanging out their bedroom windows smoking and the smell of weed in the morning was wafting through my room."
"The facility was well-kept with good amenities. Our suite was a generous size and had a nice kitchenette. The air conditioning struggled to cool the space down, but I contacted Reception, and they brought a standing fan up to our door within 15 minutes. Very attentive and friendly staff!"
