"Absolutely lovely property in the centre of Howarth. Very well presented, super clean and tidy and had everything you need for your stay. "We were the only ones staying. Bedrooms were basic. Shower so small & shampoo/conditioner were outside shower and could not access. Kettle could not be filled at sink due to size. Menu advertised for breakfast was not what was given. I ordered a continental breakfast to be served cereal & toast. Menu said croissant, fresh fruit, yogurt & granola. Very disappointing. Wait staff had no clue on how to do their job nor any knowledge of the menu. The building itself was lovely and location wonderful."

"This hotel is lovely. There are special little touches everywhere, and our room was very nicely decorated. Breakfast (we asked for vegan and were very well looked after) was delicious and so nicely presented. There is actually nothing negative I can say about this hotel. You will not regret booking here."

"Booked for two nights b & b. No one around initially at our arrival but very quickly let in by someone and our room key with instructions for finding our room were provided Room on 2nd floor and was beautiful. Big en suite, everything you could need. Comfortable bed, generous drink making facilities in room. Couldn’t connect to wifi on 2nd floor. Could as we went lower down in the building. En suite toilet was saniflo system so quite loud briefly when flushed. Breakfast fabulous quality, dining room beautiful in keeping with age of building and dining room was transformed on the night to the Slow kitchen bistro which we ate at one night and was excellent."
