"This is an aparthotel in an art deco building. Certainly has that feeling but obviously modernized a bit over time, which worked great for us! The property/elevator code that we initially received just didn't work, but the front desk attendant was able to help us with that right away. The check-in instructions said they don't really do luggage storage, but they do. I ended up using a Luggage Hero (Expo Barber), only a few minutes walk from the property, before checking in. But I got a message...

"This was the most comfortable short stay hotel accommodation I have experienced coming to Manhattan for many years. In terms of value for money it is outstanding. The reception area is a little too Brutalist for my taste, but it was very clean and the staff were unusually friendly and helpful"

"Great location, friendly staff, and close to many restaurants, shops, and things to do. Easy to get around on foot or by public transit. The hotel offers great views of both midtown and downtown. So many great restaurants nearby, with Little Italy, Chinatown, and Soho within walking distance. The hotel offers good discounts to guests for many nearby restaurants and shops. Very quiet at night. Room was clean and fairly spacious. Highly recommend and would stay here again! "

"The first night was very noisy given there was construction going on across the street from our room. I was wondering why somebody would rent a room with construction directly across from the room window. The second night was to standard because it was a friday night and the construction crews probably don't work into saturday morning. I was traveling with children. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Jane was outstanding as was everyone else."

"Room is tiny. Pillows were really poor. For some reason they only supply one regular and one decaf per day after we asked for 2 regular. Oh well."

"The place is beautiful. The staff is welcoming and the bar is amazing, the room was pristine. Really my only improvement would be the food during breakfast, the option are really limited and the taste was not great. "

"Hotel has a nice aesthetic. The location just wasn’t the best for us. Had to pay pretty pricey Ubers to get to areas with more retail and sightseeing options. There was no phone in the room so we couldn’t communicate with the front desk, the fridge had a slight odor, and the thermostat wasn’t working initially. Small things but they may be big for others "
