"Aside from the keys, not working in the desk person making me wait 15 minutes before they would come create me another key and the homeless people in the hallway. The mattress was the absolute worst I’ve ever slept in in my life basically a cement board. Other than that, it is first choice for the homeless in the hallway"

"The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. "I am disgusted by the behavior of the general manager who hung up the phone on me. I paid for my room in FULL for 2 nights but when I arrived the next day (flight was delayed) I was told I couldn’t check in because they had cancelled my room (kept my money) and sold my room to another guest So that means they got to benefit TWICE from one room Cancelled my room and left me stranded with nowhere to stay And when asked for my money back on the phone with manager, she hung up the phone on me...

"The customer service alone here makes me want to stay here time and time again! Every single staff member I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone was so kind and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a solo traveler, this also gave me a feeling of safety which I truly appreciate. The rooms may be slightly outdated, but was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The mattress was a bit softer than I prefer, but the A/C ran great and I slept like a baby all night with zero disturbance....

"Fun stay at a neat old inn in a very convenient and lovely location, walking distance to good food and shopping. This is an older hotel that doesn’t have all the updated and most modern conveniences but if it did, it would be twice as expensive and I probably would not have stayed there. And it would probably lose some of its charm.
