"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. After 5 weeks in Europe, this hotel is at the very top. Husband and wife owners are totally committed to their guests. Wow! The included breakfast was the best ever. "Clean rooms and property. Very friendly staff. Great location and breakfast each morning. We had the family room and it was perfect with a separate room that had bunk beds. Just a note: there isn't a fridge if you plan to buy snacks and there isn't ac, which was fine in May but could be hot in the summer. Great hotel! We loved our stay!"
