"If I could give the rating: Outstanding!!! I would.
First off, the charm and history in the premises is out of this world. You get all the proximity of Bruges, but then you get to stay in a 1600's dwelling that's been converted in a hotel.
Next up our hosts - Olivier and Cynthia. Truly caring, respectful and enthusiastic hosts that go out of their way to give their guests an incredible experience.

"The breakfasts were great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The home was located a short walk from the city center. Jan was a great host. We would definitely stay here again if in Bruge."

"Nice hotel, clean and well located on the edge of the city right beside the main train and bus stations for those wishing to use public transport, we used a hire car as we wished to explore Ypres and the surrounding WW1 museums etc at our own leisure, car parking was very easy as the hotel sits on the same site as the stations car park and is only €8 per night. The staff were exellent, all staff members were pleasent and helpful at all times during our stay. Breakfast was good although the restaurant / breakfast area was quite small, and there is no evening meals available apart from some small bar snacks which are tasty and enough satisfy, with plenty of options for food in the city. Overall a solid hotel."
"Super location. Very pleasant staff met us on arrival. Made the check in so much nicer. Breakfast was very nice. But somehow the rooms alloted to us in EVERY hotel was never a room with a view or a room that has character. We believe those booking through Expedia /Hotels.com are not given any preference! Hotels prefer that one bold directly with them! This had been our experience throughout this trip!!"
"This property was lovely. It was SO convenient and right near the Market Place. Where you can find lots of food/drinks places. Walkable to the canal boat ride, beautiful view and lots of bars to sit with beautiful canal views. We visited Bruges, Ghent/Gent and Brussels. Bruges was our favourite.
Property had a lift, really great air conditioning (we went in the hot weather) staff were lovely, she even gave us cute little cookie on our departure!! Bus service there as well, can pay contactless on the bus. Bus number 2 also takes you to Bruges station"
"Hotel is ideally located near main squares and other primary attractions. Meticulously clean interior within an older building with much of the original charm still present. Beds and linens were fantastic, and room was super quiet. We didn't do breakfast or restaurant on this stay, but we did enjoy their spacious and beautiful bar area that had multiple adjacent seating areas with tall ceilings and classical decor. Brenton was our bartender and he was excellent. Would come back to this place again for sure"
"Can not fault this hotel at all, bedding and towels changed ever day even though I requested that every other day would have been good, air con 24/7 which was a blessing due to the heat we had, would 100% return on our next visit to Bruges"

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is somehow both elegant and cozy. It is perfectly located, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. We stayed for 3 nights, and we didn’t want to leave."
