"Staff was nowhere to be found during breakfast. When another guest went looking to ask for the coffee to be replenished they found her sleeping in the back. The breakfast was ok, typical self serve. The overall condition of the hotel is rundown. Walls through the building have holes or cracks. The shower was a bit scary and no lighting. Bathtub had black marks imprinted. The keys sometimes work some times do not work when trying to enter your room so he patient. When asked for extra pillows the staff claimed they did not have any extra key the hotel was not even at half capacity. "

"They were going through renovations so i understand some dust etc. When we got in the room we noticed blood spots on the chair and just covered with a towel. Don't walk on floors without shoes. We went to dinner. We had been driving all day and wanted to stay by the lighthouse. We got back from dinner around 10pm, exhausted. We had 2 queen beds, my cousin and myself. I pulled back my sheets and there were blood stain spots all over my sheets and hair. So I slept with my cousin in her bed, we were too tired. Decided to turn on the TV. Did not work. Would i stay again...after the blood stains on sheets...most likely not"

"We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. We were honestly just looking for a cheap place to lay our heads for the night on a long trip home. I’m usually very picky about hotels but on this trip we were on a tight budget and I was a little nervous when booking. However, this place was absolutely wonderful. Very clean, extremely friendly staff, and the waffles at breakfast were great!! It’s also conveniently located off 95 if you’re looking for somewhere on a long drive. It’s also about 15 min from Jekyll Island and we took full advantage of that during the evening that we stayed. We would definitely stay here again."

"Can’t express enough as to how the room designs were beautiful. The furniture and the decor was done so tastefully it made for a wonderful stay. Also, the woman at the desk who greeted us were wonderful and could not have been any more helpful. Hope to go back soon."
