What a beautiful and luxurious hotel! It really felt like we had stepped back in time and were staying in a 19th-century mansion. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Personalet var utrolig hjælpsomme med alt og servicen var i top. Lejligheden var super og levede bestemt op til vores forventninger. Vi nød vores ophold, både når vi trængte til at slappe af i lejligheden og som base for vores udforskning af Bukarest

Fun small boutique hotel. Very sweet and lovely personal working there. A decent breakfast - but served late from 8 What could be better is a place to work in the room (like a desk)

Outstanding experience

We loved the architecture and the cozy rooms with all neccessary conforts: beautiful furniture, nice upholstery, architectural details of the rooms and bathrooms, the nice private garden, the friendly owners and attentive staff!

Decor was old Victorian style, very unique. We found our way around the city easily from the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful, rooms were very clean. Being older I found the bathtubs harder to shower in.

The staff here are top class they’ll make you feel like royalty with their thoughtfulness and professionalism. The room was beautiful I was impressed with the details - everything from the kettle to the phone and the pillows matched the decor and theme. The room was clean and the temperature control was spot on. They breakfast is delicious and the dining room is stunning. It’s great place to tap into your imagination, you can easily get lost in the romantic atmosphere.

Very nice and unique style, very clean, great stocked mini bar, great reception. Location is also perfect. One small detail: in the shower I would have wished to be able to hang the shower handle and a shelf for the shower products.

Luminita și Mayer ( David) sunt extraordinari ! Very knowledgeable and helpful with everything. Great at troubleshooting and accommodating.; they do their jobs with great care, responsibility and accountability. Very pleasant stay in a wonderful repurposed house ! Thank you !

A beautiful unique oasis in a large city. One of a kind and stately with friendly staff and an historical charm. I have traveled professionally for over 40 years in Europe and rarely found such a charming, small gem. Manager Adrain was wonderful.

I absolutely loved this hotel. 3 couples stayed here recently and the hotel was a standout for me, out of all the ones on the tour we did of Romania. The concierge, Mayer, was lovely, so helpful and professional. The hotel is appointed beautifully and is very comfortable. The welcome champagne was lovely too. If I return to Bucharest I will stay here again. It's close to a couple of good bars that serve food too. Big thanks to Mayer for making the stay so memorable.

Quarto cheiroso, decoração exuberante, mas, por se tratar de uma casa convertida em hotel, nosso quarto era fora do prédio principal, de forma que se estiver chovendo você precisará sair com guarda chuva para tomar seu café da manhã por exemplo. De toda forma, isso não tira a beleza do hotel e a simpatia dos funcionários.

I was looking for a hotel with character, and I certainly got it! The property is lavishly decorated in a very high style art nouveau way. The bed was comfortable. The manager and staff were approachable and responsive. I believe this is a family run business and it’s nice to not have a clinical feel that happens often with hotels managed as a part of a chain. It is walkable to the centre in 20-30 minutes and is located in a nice part of of the city. I hope to visit again!

The hotel has beautiful architecture and interior design. The rooms are spatious, bright and the furniture stylish and very confortable. Confortable beds with high quality bed linnens. Also good quality toiletries. The owners and the entire staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive to their clients’s needs. We loved everybody we interracted with. The location could not be better, in a quiet, tree lined street in the old “ bourgeois” part of the city, 30 minutes walking distance from the University Plaza, the old town, Caru cu bere, and a multitude of restaurants, bars and cafes! We will be back every year!

Cockroaches were all over the place. We took video and pictures. We complained to a worker and asked him to have management call us. No call! Horrible experience!
