"Chambre propre, un peu vieillot mais tous les services et commodités sont présents. Le buffet déjeuner est très complet mais juste un peu trop pricy. La localisation est idéale près d’une station de métro et très facile d’accès. Plusieurs marchés, restaurants, coffee shops et pâtisseries sont autour en moins de 5-10min de marche."

"This hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel is only a year old so naturally it’s pristine. FINALLY, a room that has plenty of shelf space in the bathroom to layout all your stuff! A very good breakfast provided. Easy walking distance to the locations you will want to see.
Don’t be put off by the state of the road in front … we would stay again for sure, thanks."

"Our room was on the third floor-54 steps up. For two 80 year olds this was a bit tough. The room was nice and had adequate electrical outlets;the bathroom was very small. The included breakfast was ok: the same as breakfast every hotel in Romania. It is well located in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk to the town center."

"A nice property centrally located. The breakfast included had a nice array of cheeses, eggs, yogurt etc.
The only hick-up was that we locked our passports in the safe and came back at the end of the day to find the safe open. The front desk told me it was impossible. We must have left it open."

"This is a delightful hotel in Old Town. The pedestrian walkway is half block away. The room was good sized and spotless. The staff was very helpful on a number of fronts. Friendly, answered our questions, recommended sites and gave good directions; even helped us contact an Uber driver so we could get something that we left in the car."

"Excellent location next to Bucharest's historic center, in a modern building (I also benefited from a top-floor room with a balcony). The staff is discreet, there is no major noise, everything is clean, the wifi and hot water work... All in all, a nice experience. No luxury (despite the 4-star label), but everything is functional and well-maintained. I will consider going back if the price remains convenient."

"This is for other travellers and expedia
Sure the property was clean, good amenities etc. Everything one would require from and air BnB but I put my filter on 5 stars and this was definitely not that!
It was NOT a 5 star hotel.
After checking it actually is a rating 2 and Expedia filters did not work correctly.
I found having to navigate technology and not having a real person on site not to my liking of a hotel.
No extra facilities of a hotel
The new digital age is not for me and this needs...

"Metropole Apartments in Bucharest’s Old Center had a pretty old looking urban exterior and lobby area, but the room itself was clean and very spacious with kitchen appliances and washer. There are no onsite hosts to meet and greet, one is provided codes to enter into the building and to their room. There are a couple of cafes nearby and not in a busy area."
