"This was a return visit as we loved the friendly staff and locals. Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw. So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well."

"Pros- Bed in double room was very comfy Kitchen was well stocked Cons - Chalet smelt very damp and musty Daughter slept on sofa due to strong smell in twin room Handles missing on some windows so couldn’t be opened . Marks and stains on twin bedroom wall, little table and sofa . No hot water connected to bathroom basin. Bathroom needs deep clean Bathroom door lock doesn’t work Had to buy towels as chalet ones smelt after 1 use Twin bedroom door sticks daughter couldn’t get out No mobile...

"Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

"Really nice clean comfortable room, good large en-suite too, did have a problem with the shower but all was sorted. Friendly staff on check in and during my stay. Good WiFi and amenities with microwave, toaster, kettle etc. very comfortable stay. "
