Great 3 bedroom hotel sty

Group of 3 friends loved the penthouse. Ample space, updated everything, and a humongous balcony. The staff for breakfast and front desk were excellent. Loved the location, easy taxi/Uber ride from everything in Budapest. I highly recommend this hotel.

Liked that it was close to eating and shopping area. The rooms felt like an apartment with lots of room and clothes washer. We had a nice private courtyard.....wished we could have stayed more than one night.

Very fine location - 2 minutes to subway and large supermarket Suite is large and very comfortable Free still and sparkling water Wifi is ok 24 hours reception - good for late check-in Full hot breakfast Thank you so much for suite upgrade. One cons - only one lift and on the morning it was a little bit long waiting time, but overall - is excellent.

Great, comfortable, and functional little hotel.

Escala is a tight efficient hotel right off of the Corvin Plaza. For the small footprint it provides a lot of comfort. Many units have partial kitchens and some even have working washing machines for clothes. The breakfast in the morning is worth it and staff are accommodating to guests from around the world. The hotel is a 4 block walk from Semmelweis Kliniknak M3 Metro Station which connects directly from the airport (and has a platform to surface elevator unlike Corvin). This has been a great hotel for our family on a number of occasions and we find ourselves returning to it whenever we come through Budapest.

Decent 2 night stay

We stayed for 2 nights. The building, halls and bathrooms are dated but other than that- the staff was pleasant and location was decent. Hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and mall but a little further from the Christmas markets and city than I would have liked however, still very walkable. There is a washer/dryer combo machine within the unit but it's for VERY small loads. We used the laundry mat next door which was very safe, clean, and much more efficient as we had several loads to do plus our coats. They did have water available at no additional cost which was a very nice touch. Room was also a bit warm but it was nice that we could open the windows.

Wonderful stay. Exceptional hotel great location

We spent 3 nights here on a mini break. We used the airport mini bud transport which was great value and took us to the door. We received a warm welcome and had our room on the 6th floor. Super light and airy, huge bed, sofa , table and chairs full kitchen and even a washing machine. we were so pleased. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of eggs on request. We considered it very well located. just by the Corvin shopping centre and lots of eateres. There is a Chimney cake shop just around the corner lovely fresh and delicous, These cost 800 HUF. The nearer you got to the city and its attractions the dearer they became toppng off at 3500 HUF by the castle. Thsi highlights the exceptional value for being just 10-15 away from the main atrractions. We were so impressed with the Escala and would happily recommend

The staff was very accommodating and the room was wonderful. Great A/C, clean and large. Suited the 5 of us well. And the hotel was in walking distance to the market and most sites. Roomy clean and quiet apartment. Breakfast was fantastic as well. The shopping centre just around the corner was convenient and has great food choices for those in the mood to eat close to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and had a great restaurant to recommend for local cuisine. The location is not ideal but there was convenient access to public transport which is very easy using a day pass on an app.

The stuff were amazing always helpful especially Gabor at the reception and all the sweet ladies at the breakfast bar. Breakfast always was so delicious. Real Hungarian foods there. Only think I would suggest some furniture need to be updates. Location is perfect to everything in walking distance. We really liked our stay.
