This was a lovely hotel in great area for exploring the city. A short walk to the tram stop, good breakfast choices & a light airy enterance. It would have been a 5 star review except....
Our stay was early October it was upwards of 16°c outside and full sunshine. Our room on the 8th floor, in direct sunlight and was absolutely boiling. The air-conditioning wasn't working and the room was unpleasantly uncomfortable.
I spoke to the staff on three or four occasions, they didn't seem paticularly bothered and advised that the a/c was switched off now and it was only heating as it was the winter season. They did open the window (only one would open) which made it a little more comfortable however we would have preferred it to be cooler - we both woke on all 3 days with a headache from the stuffiness of the room.
In a hotel of this standard, I would expect to be able to choose the temperature of my room myself and not be dictated to about whether it is hot or cold.
