Despite the fact they issued me a refund promptly, I'm still giving this place a 1 star review. I had a reservation for 5 nights but checked out after the 2nd night. Upon waking up after the first night I found the refrigerator had gone up to 64 degrees at some point and ruined all the food I had just bought. I immediately texted the number that guests are told to text but never received any acknowledgement. The second morning, while in the middle of the shower, the water went out completely. It was then I decided to just get the hell out and demand a refund. The staff never apologized for their refrigerator ruining my food. It was Expedia that was kind enough to offer a credit for me to compensate me for the waisted food. Also, the hotel charged my card twice for $66 for whatever reason even though I paid through Expedia. This was an additional random charge on top of the $50 incidental hold they require. Luckily they did issue me a refund for both unauthorized charges but without explanation as to why the charges were there in the first place. I will absolutely never stay here again

If I can give 10 stars I would! The staff here are the best! It’s pretty cool because now I live in the next town from where this hotel is next to. Ok this hotel is low key, comfortable, quiet, fun, close to everything and a hell of a good price! The staff that works at Sideways inn which runs this place are the coolest and helped me along the way with everything! This is located within Santa Barbara county and let me tell you the rental market is horrible:( It is worse than where I live in San Diego. So this place is a steel! Each room have a nice comfy bed, a tv, fridge, warm shower and you can use the games there along with swim at the Sideways inn! Thank you guys, Amber, Sienna and our Great Dane Ace thank you!!! Hope to see you guys around soon!!!

The beds are terrible. Refrigerator makes noise all night. The grounds are poor. No plants , nothing. Very sad place.

Squeaky clean-10 out of 10. Unfortunately there was only a dribble of water coming out of the shower, so had to skip. Only cold water at sink. Paper thin walls-guy in next room definitely needs a CPAP-we were up all night

It was a nice hotel but it is very small. Maybe the smallest room I've ever been in. There is no microwave either but if you go down the street to Tom's gas you can use the microwave there as long as you buy something from the store.

This is a great place for basic accommodations. Clean, comfortable, small room. Good wifi. Convenient location. Air conditioner worked but loud. Never interacted with staff. I've stayed here 3 times and will continue to return.

Room was very clean and bed was super soft and comfortable to sleep in. Small space but perfect for a weekend getaway. Shower pressure was amazing, nice and hot after being out in the cold. AC and heating worked quick. I checked in at the sideways in (a sister property) and they even offered to let us use their pool! very nice of them. The hotel is contactless so you don’t NEED to go check in at the other hotel unless you want to. Everything is seamless nonetheless. it’s 10 minutes away from solvang and the drive there is lovely.
