"Great stay a the Stag - bar staff were excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic . Rooms were spacious and really really clean and comfortable with comfy beds and great bathrooms . Parking was really easy and the welcome was superb . "

"The room was dusty and cobwebs were around the inside of the window and we had spiders in there. The hotel was not very well maintained, could do with painting and upgrading of some of the furniture. The wooden panelling in pool area needs attention as well. We booked breakfast for 9am and when we arrived the scrambled eggs were dried up, no black pudding, no bacon and no butter available. Parking was fine. I had wanted to stay at the hotel for a while and was disappointed with my overall experience and would not visit agan."

"Arrived to a warm welcome and advised room checks were to be completed, so check in was about 2.15. Booked a king size superior. Clean and had all you needed. Drink outside in the sun is always a delight. Had a good nights sleep. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was an excellent choice of cereals, fruit, toast, crumpets, yoghurt and more, along with a great choice of cooked. Have stayed before and always found the staff to be friendly, helpful & polite."

"Staff were helpful and friendly. Our evening meal was fantastic and great value. Breakfast was also very good with quality ingredients and great service. Sadly our overnight stay was let down with the room not being up to standard. The lock to the room wasn’t easy to open. Areas were grubby and in need of decorating, especially the paintwork in the bathroom. Whilst we would return to eat in the restaurant we would not stay overnight again. "

"We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink outside in the sunshine in April. Dinner was amazing, the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night but service was quick, friendly and efficient. My Asian burger with king prawns and my wife's baby ribs were amazing and portions were enormous; we had no room for what looked like lovely desserts. £60 for this quality of food with a couple of drinks is excellent value. Breakfast was good too although there was not a great deal of choice. We were the only people staying but would certainly go to this pub again."

"This is a small pub with few rooms. The rooms are well appointed and modern, looks like it's been recently renovated. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value and the service was very relaxed and unrushed."

"Really nice guest house in a good location just outside Wroxham. Our room was lovely, a big comfortable bed and a bathroom with a roll top bath. The pre-order breakfast offered a good choice with quality ingredients."
