"The Old Brewhouse offers a lovely garden which, in June, is in colorful full bloom. The garden is such a wonderful spot to sit, relax, read, or just mellow out in a beautiful environment. If there is rain, there is also a comfortable indoor space with large windows facing out onto the garden in which to sit. "We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!"

"The property was well maintained and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Shower was lovely. No breakfast served anymore but we didn't need it as we had breakfast plans. I loved having instant hot chocolate and a kettle in the room in addition to instant coffee and tea.The staff were really nice and helpful. Fairly close to the centre and easy route as it's on a main road but not noisy. I'd recommend it and would stay there again."

"I was a bit flustered when I arrived but my host took it in his stride and walked me through everything. I was especially surprised and grateful for the free top up for my EV as this can be a bone of contention on trips. The only thing I feel could be helpful would be to offer a fan for the room as there is no A/C and it was particularly hot but, apart from that minor issue, it was a lovely stay and I hope to return again soon. "
