"A last minute event meant the we needed somewhere to stay so we decided to treat ourselves to Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the White Lion. It was a bit busy when we arrived but the staff were welcoming though we only go directions to our room as the lad needed to get back to the bar. The room was lovely, generally well appointed. "Lovely proper pub with rooms. Friendly and welcoming. Easy checkin. Everywhere spotless including rooms and bathroom. A nice touch was there was a nightshift person who introduced themselves to me and told me to ring anytime if any issues. Breakfast was a tasty, plated-up full English (much nicer than those breakfast buffets with a few grizzled eggs floating around). Will definitely stay there again."

"We went to check in note in window to call all locked up, was shown to our room cobwebs on inside of window frame had not been cleaned brown bed linnen alarm bells pulled back could see what looked like stains. We looked at each other no way and we walked out would want a refund of my money "
