"Overall the room was clean, but I reserved for an oceanside view which was kind of the view. When you first walk in and stare out the window we saw the Hotel next to us, but when you stand at the window and look to the right, you could see the beach. Was not happy about that but oh well.
I could see a crack on the ceiling from one side of the room to the wall where the thermostat was and could tell there a a major leak or something where the crack ended. I'm mentioning this because the repair was indeed crappy.
We stayed 4 nights from Thursday to Monday morning and had great room cleaning done except for the day before we left. You could tell it was a lazy job as we had no face towels, the towels we used in front of the shower was still there as well as a used one in the shower, half folded towels on the sink that should have been place properly, and the floor wasn't vacuumed (dry cleaning stick that fell off my shirt was still on the floor). However, when I call front desk, someone brought towels to the room.
Now I don't always tip room cleaners but we did meet one and tipped her. They keep an envelope on the dresser for tipping cleaners, so will think to do so more often if and when I stay there again.
Overall decent stay, HardRock restaurant has fallen off a bit, we will never eat there again."
