A very unique little house close to town and the beach and other amenities. Loved learning the history of the place. It was warm and comfortable. The hosts were very generous with goodies for breakfast. Appreciated washing machine and dishwasher. Loved our stay

Highly recommend.

We were given a Warm welcome, with a show around property and recommendations for dinner. Very good selection of breakfast supplies and went out of there way to make sure it suited our requirements. The property had everything you would need. Great location walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great stay at the Duck House

Lovely house with lots of ducks all around! Special highlights of Burnie include the penguin colony (very busy during our late-Feb visit), platypus at Fern Glen, and a beautiful beach.

We felt so at home here. It was honestly one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed at. I wish we were there for longer than one night to be honest, but we will be back to stay again when next in Burnie. Honestly can’t praise this place enough.

A lovely stay in a well cared for historic home. Many ducks, decorative and useful. Well equipped and very comfortable. A beautiful back garden access, even some herbs and veggies to pick. Lovely, informative hosts close by. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous 2 bedroom house. Very clean and comfortable. Lynne and Tish the most amazing hosts and the breakfast provisions were amazing! Definitely will be back and will try one of the other houses 🏠😊

This was the best place we stayed at in Tasmania. I loved the decor and it was large and roomy for all of us. The house was immaculate and homey and just felt so comfortable to stay in. The provisions and facilities were above and beyond. The owners were gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend a stopover here and would suggest longer than I had.

A home away from home. Staying in hotels when travelling for work is miserable, having a gorgeous house to come back to was fantastic. Literally everything I needed was available. Including limes for my G&T.

We booked at he Duck House but ended up staying at Amelia's - their other property. Our hosts were generous and lovely, the accommodation was comfortable, and the breakfast top notch. Would absolutely recommend this host.
