Kimpton Clocktower by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel! Super good breakfast"

Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel from the time we walked in, to the time we reached our room. Wonderful stay! Comfortable bed and very clean room! I thought staying close to the train station would be very loud but it wasnt bad at all. Would have like to spend more time here."

Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in an excellent location, particularly for Salford Quays, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, and I had no issues whatsoever with the bed, view or parking. However, the rooms feel quite outdated for the modern traveller and have not kept pace with what guests expect in 2026. Our room had no fridge, very limited USB charging points and a bathroom that, while clean and functional, was clearly in need of modernisation. One particularly frustrating issue was the bedside USB ports, which were actually located underneath the bedside table. This made them extremely awkward to access and, with a short charging cable, using a phone comfortably in bed was difficult. In 2026, when guests travel with phones, tablets and smartwatches, easily accessible charging points should really be standard. We ate in the hotel restaurant on three occasions and found the food quite nice. The hotel's proximity to Salford Quays is also a major advantage and the location itself is excellent. Overall, the hotel has a great deal going for it. If the rooms were modernised with updated bathrooms, a fridge and better charging facilities, I would score this hotel very highly. The staff and location are excellent, but the rooms need updating to better reflect the needs of today's traveller."

Manchester Portland By Sunday
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Portland by Sunday Hotel in Manchester's Piccadilly area. The location is excellen right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly Station, the Opera House Theatre, and plenty of great restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel has a quirky character with fun décor throughout, featuring sunglasses, umbrellas, boots and weather-themed displays, which gives it a unique personality. The staff were all warm, welcoming and very helpful We stayed during a heatwave, but the air conditioning in the room worked brilliantly and ensured we had a comfortable night's sleep. We paid an extra £10.for a late checkout, giving us an extra hour in bed after a night out in Manchester, and it was well worth it. We also paid just £4 to store our two bags after checkout, which allowed us to enjoy an afternoon of shopping without having to carry luggage around the city. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, we enjoyed a few beers in the bar while watching the World Cup, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The only minor downside was the room entrance. The hallway between the door and the sleeping area is quite narrow, so larger guests or anyone using mobility aids may find access a little restricted. It certainly wouldn't put me off staying again, but it's something worth being aware of. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel in a superb central location with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent value f"

Britannia Hotel Manchester
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very polite, helpful and professional. The room was clean and tidy There was tea and coffee making facilities, TV, oscillating fan and open wardrobe. We booked a breakfast which was more than adequate and this was served in the downstairs area, which was very clean and remained in keeping with the hotel style and decoration. During our stay we used the left luggage facility which was secure and safe. We were provided with a tag for luggage and a corresponding tag for security checking on collection. The hotel and room were very suitable for our overnight stay and we had no complaints. The hotel is very central and approximately 5-10 mins walk from the train station The price for a twin room and breakfast were exceptional value and l would definitely use this hotel again"

Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Very quiet room, despite being next to the train line. Comfortable sleep, only issue was that the aircon would time out quickly and room got quite warm throughout the night"

The Midland - Manchester
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing hotel and services. Spa was great, only wish they provided hotel guest robes and slippers too as we ended up bare footed which is quite hazardous. Otherwise I loved the hotel and ambience. It was celebration for my husbands 40th and he was quite please too. Will definitely recommend"

The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous spa and the room was really nice, air con very useful!"
