"We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle."

"The Fort George is a beautiful, luxury Boutique Hotel experience in great location within Belize city. Very convenient to the Ferry terminal, fantastic and helpful staff, and phenomenal dining. The gym and Spa are also I must to experience."

"This is an excellent place to stay! The owners (Canadian born Cathy and Dan) go out of their way to make your stay special.. arranging transfers and making tasty meals served on a lovely screened porch. The pool is great and a nice place to relax after a long trip.
The rooms are tasteful with very comfortable beds.
We stayed here twice on our last stay and really enjoyed both stays it felt like home to come back before our trip back home.

"We did not get the managet/front desk woman's name ... I'm kicking myself. She was absolutely fantastic!!! From meeting us on check-in, to getting us pizza, to getting my husband a massage.
The room was spotless, the amenities were wonderful.
We had to syay overnight due to plane issues ... what a great choice!!!!"
