"Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all.
Positives were that the room was spacious,...

"Great quiet location close to medical specialists or hospital, but not much more than a place to sleep and shower. No room service, but has a microwave and some plates and cutlery.
My room was not clean, ick."

"An excellent place to stay. Outstanding location, outstanding staff & amenities. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the room was lovely. My family & I will definitely be returning. "The location was good , the cleaninnes of the room wasn't great for what i thought would be ! One of the staff at the reception was not helpful and it felt like she didn't want to do her job! The best was the breakfast and the kangaroos that were always around and that is why I didn't give a lower score!"

"We booked this place for a 6-night family holiday. The moment we checked in, there was a very strong smell of sweat and stinky feet. The bathroom had a strong moldy and drain smell, with visible mold all over the shower walls. We tried opening the window and the door, but it made no difference.
We contacted the after-hours staff, but he offered no help and even tried to blame the smell on the “previous guests”. I requested a refund for the unused 5 nights, but he said only the manager could...

"Excellent helpful front office staff. South wing a bit noisy during the day with traffic as it’s a major intersection but not so much during the night after 10pm."
