Butterfly Museum

It was a mix of awesome and kind of weird haha. Hotel itself is great accommodations, great breakfast. Management is questionable… could not check in a single minute before 3 pm (after travelling for 23hr we were exhausted and arrived at 1230 at the hotel and requested early check in which we had been told was available for a fee) Strangely they told us the hotel had been sold out the night before so no clean rooms available. So it seems housekeeping waits until 245 then miraculously cleans every room in the hotel by 3, when one person is available at front desk for a lineup of 23 people checking in at 3 pm on the dot. If you want a massage that you don’t know exists, you must call to book a week ahead of time. Lol. When we asked for coffee to be replenished as it hadn’t been during the cleaning we explicitly asked not to happen keeping our tag on our door, we came back to the tag removed, both keys not working and our room cleaned LOL. The gentleman came to our room to inspect to prove he left coffee (which he didn’t find) then insisted to my husband he gave it to “your wife” (me) and stepped into our room where I was comfortably resting IN BED to identify I was not in fact who he gave the coffee to. Came back an hour later saying he could only find 2 in the whole hotel. So weird experience with staff, but accommodations were great … so… I think we would stay again but it’d be a toss up LOL

Hotel really catered to its guests. A/C in the rooms, lots of outlets which was very helpful, and the hotel bar allowed for water, soda, and alcohol to be easily accessible. The staff was so nice and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and even bringing it right to the room for us before we got back from our adventures. The location was nice, more away from the touristy spots but near a beautiful overlook park and walking distance to train stations. Excited to go back!
