"The George as a building is full of character, but what really makes it an excellent stay is the quality of the staff. Such a friendly welcome, and superb service for breakfast and dinner meant that we felt very much at home.
I recommend the George to anyone staying in the area."

"Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go.
Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."
