Elite World Istanbul Taksim

"The cleanliness, breakfast or services did not meet 5 star standards. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is around 3 star worthy. We had a wet carpet for our entire stay and hotel staff clearly just didn’t understand or try to understand what we was saying. We had to request new towels daily & our room was only cleaned once on a 4 night stay. Cleaning staff enter the room despite the clearly displayed sign left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, on two occasions (one morning) and we do not believe this was handled appropriately at all. We were additionally disappointed with the breakfast. The breakfast selection had very little variety. Although we paid for breakfast as part of our stay, we only ate there once and ended up purchasing breakfast elsewhere for the remainder of the trip due to the poor experience. Spa tried to charge us full price despite online stating 20% off for people staying in the hotel - when queried she offered 15% off instead - booked this hotel for the spa experience and did not end up doing! Located in a good place where most things are walking distance."
Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class

"The room was great but a bit hot at the beginning. Then the AC was fixed and it was very comfortable. We appreciated the 2 bottles of water provided regularly lot. The breakfast was excellent with many choices that changed a bit every day. This is a bonus as we stayed there for 6 nights and one would want some variety. The hotel is on a lovely side street. The staff is helpful and friendly."

"Great location right in the heart of Taksim. Our room had an amazing view, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. While the room was a bit small for two people, the stunning view more than made up for it. A special thank you to our housekeeper, Bedriye, who was incredibly kind and kept our room spotless every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!"
Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center

"Everything was great. The only thing I can only complain about it is that the AC in my room wasn’t working. I went there to her surgery and I put the Hilton because he has a very good reputation and is supposed to be comfortable however the AC in my room was broken. I have to call the people to fix it a couple of times. It’s not the conditions I want to be when you are going to surgery and you just wanna chill and recover room temperature was sometimes 28°. I was swearing it was very uncomfortable. You definitely don’t fly 12 hours to get surgery and chill in a room that is 28°."

"Amneties and hotel location are very good, well-maintained, good breakfast, however the staff are horrible, both the front desk and at breakfast restaurant, they need to smile, greet guests and attend to their needs, they have a poker face with no courtesy and look at you badly when you request something. Hotel staff are the core of services and they need much better training."
