"Velero is my go to spot in Cabarete where you can be in the heart of the party and yet have your space for those important quiet moments. The hotel, rooms, amenities, restaurant, bar, and staff are all top tier."

"Within the first 24hr of our stay, we experienced a number of issues which ultimately resulted in us leaving after one night (booked for 4 nights). - the day before checking in, we received a message stating that the property was trying to charge our card for the whole booking even though we had already booked and paid in full through Expedia. Luckily the bank rejected the payment and we resolved the issue with the property. -upon arrival, we noticed a lot of damage to the room. looks like...

"Stayed here many times , same employees . Only thing I can not get used to is no housekeeping and have to pay when you want clean towels ( 5 US dollars ). But everything is great , just overlook the loud traffic "

"A brief walk from your apartment to the ocean is a tropical journey. Your adventure begins with a stroll through a natural landscape followed by a spectacular view of the beach. Before you step onto the sand, You will pass the pool, a bar and restaurant with stunning views of the Atlantic! Did I mention the price…… Unbelievably reasonable!"

"Muy buen lugar para hospedarse"

"Excellent accommodation! Very friendly staff (Lucy was so welcoming and Kenny was very kind and helpful), clean safe grounds, gated, clean rooms with comfortable beds, stovetop, AC, microwave, sink, warm pool, on-the-beach lookout, kite launch next door at the kite school or anywhere in the beach, local produce across the street, restaurant down the beach. Would stay there again!"

"The place was nice and clean. The price was reasonable !!"
